WordFlow Privacy Policy
This policy explains what WordFlow collects, why it is used, and the controls available to you.
Effective: August 14, 2026 · Controller: DendrIA S.E.N.C. · contact@dendria.ca
Overview
WordFlow creates an anonymous player account when you first open the app. Signing in with Apple, Google, Facebook, Game Center, or Play Games is optional and can be used to protect or restore your progress.
Data We Collect
| Category | Examples | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Account and contact data | Anonymous user ID; name and email address if supplied by an optional sign-in provider; support email | Create and secure your account, restore progress, and answer support requests |
| Gameplay and social content | Progress, scores, inventory, language, achievements, clan membership, display name, and messages you send in clan chat | Operate the game, synchronize progress, and provide social features |
| Purchases | Products, entitlements, receipts, and purchase history; never full payment-card details | Complete, validate, restore, and support in-app purchases |
| Usage and diagnostics | Product interactions, sessions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic events | Run analytics, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and improve WordFlow |
| Device and advertising data | Device or installation identifiers, advertising identifier, advertising data, device model, operating system, IP address, and coarse location inferred from IP | Deliver app services, analyze performance, and provide or measure advertising |
| Notifications | Push token and notification preferences | Deliver notifications you allow and manage delivery |
We process this data to provide the service you request, pursue legitimate interests such as security and reliability, comply with law, and obtain consent where required.
Advertising And Tracking
WordFlow uses Google Mobile Ads. On Apple devices, WordFlow requests App Tracking Transparency permission before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking. You may refuse that request or change permission later in system settings. Ads can still appear when tracking is not allowed, but they should not use the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.
WordFlow does not use your name, email address, gameplay content, chat messages, or purchase history to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
How We Share Data
We share data only as needed with service providers and platform operators:
- Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, and backend services.
- Google Mobile Ads for advertising and measurement.
- RevenueCat for purchase validation, entitlements, and restoration.
- Apple and Google platform services for distribution, purchases, optional sign-in, achievements, leaderboards, and push delivery.
- Cloudflare for public website and game-asset delivery.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect players and the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Service providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention And Security
Account, progress, social, and purchase records are kept while needed to provide WordFlow and maintain entitlements. Support, analytics, advertising, and diagnostic data are kept according to operational needs and provider retention settings. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, subject to legal, fraud-prevention, backup, and transaction-record obligations.
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and provider security controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
WordFlow is a general-audience game that includes a Kid Mode designed for children ages 4–12 and configured by a parent or guardian. Kid Mode age, difficulty, voice, and guidance settings are stored on the device. The anonymous player account and the app-wide data practices described in this policy still apply while Kid Mode is used.
A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use of optional sign-in, social, purchase, notification, and advertising choices. If you believe we collected a child’s personal data without consent required in your region, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Your Rights And Choices
Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, export, object to, restrict, or delete personal data. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
- Delete your WordFlow account: open Settings, choose Account, then choose Delete account. This deletes your profile, progress, purchases, and social data from WordFlow. Platform subscriptions are not cancelled automatically.
- Advertising choices: use the App Tracking Transparency prompt and your device privacy or advertising settings.
- Notifications: change notification permission in device settings.
- Requests: email contact@dendria.ca. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
App Store Privacy Label
Apple groups the data above into these labels: name, email address, emails or text messages, gameplay content, coarse location, user ID, device ID, purchases, product interaction, advertising data, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data.
Most account, gameplay, social, purchase, usage, device, and advertising data is linked to your WordFlow account or device. Crash, performance, and other diagnostic data may be collected without being linked to your identity. Only device identifiers are declared as used for tracking, for third-party advertising and measurement when permission allows.
